Trying the Spirits
I John 4:1-6, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error." If the spirit of influence in your life does not provoke you to earnestly study, diligently search the word of God, and examine and prove every doctrine, custom, and tradition to which you are espoused, then I suggest you, "TRY ANOTHER SPIRIT!" Hello Beloved! Are you willing to accept the truth that most of the customs and traditions we embrace are handed down to us unchallenged from family and friends generation to generation? Do you know that we are born into a READY MADE WORLD? Have you put any effort into investigating the origin and the integrity of what you believe? Many professed Christians today have a very obscured concept of True Christianity. As a result, the world is filled with "forms of godly worship," in which the very spirit of Truth is denied, and the spirit of error is lifted up! To confess that Jesus is come in the flesh, lived without sin, died for our sins, and rose from the grave on the third day, means more than reciting these words. Real belief in Jesus means acquainting yourself with and adopting His customs, practices, traditions, and teachings. There are many false prophets who preach a COUNTERFEIT Jesus, and a COUNTERFEIT Gospel. But unless you are among those to whom the MYSTERIES OF GOD are revealed, you will be Deceived! Trying the Spirits is dedicated to the discovery of the "Hidden Secrets" of God that He makes known to His Friends. The faithful are those who search the scriptures daily like the Bereans. 1 Cor 4:1-2 says, "Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful." A faithful man is a wise man liken to one who builds his house on a solid foundation, and the beginning of Wisdom is the fear or respect of the Almighty. As you discover the Mysteries of the Kingdom, be prepared for Life Changing Revelations! "For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside Thee, what He hath prepared for him that waiteth for Him."
